Young Irish rider Seán Walsh has been making a name for himself as a stylish, talented and committed showjumper who has a bright future in the sport. In 2009 he moved into a newly-built base with modern facilities at Waterfall Stud Farm, Mylane, Ovens, Co. Cork, Ireland. From here he breeds, trains and competes showjumping horses. A qualified coach, he also provides instruction to other riders.
In 2009, Seán finished 2nd in a qualification competition for the 8 Year-old And Over horse class for the prestigious Dublin Horse Show. There were over 70 horses in the competition. The 23 year-old also finished 3rd in the 1.40m Blessington Classic and 2nd in the 1.35m Munster Grand Prix at Aglish Co. Waterford. He is producing many young horses.
Seán Walsh uses Shirley’s Herbal Care products on all of his horses to treat cuts, grazes, bumps, bruises, and mud rash for those horses wintered out. He also uses Calendula and Honey to create a shine around his horses noses to enhance their presentation for competition.
